Espace Charenton increases staff awareness by committing to monthly meetings. The venue is easily accessed by metro, bus or tram. Eco-friendly building, with optimised energy management: EDF annual study, sorting & collection of "RECY'GO Paper" recycling, abolition of all non-biodegradable plastics in the convention centre, low-energy lighting "LED" used throughout the building. Measurement of energy consumption with the aim of continuing reduction. Providers using a sustainable development approach, Ethics caterer, EDINEWS printer, cleaning products and eco-labeled cleaning company, Green Post postage stamps, using local providers to reduce the CO2 emissions. 80% of space is naturally lit, with a possible concealment for the use of video projection device. Systematic updating of health and safety rules. Internal and external communication on eco-friendly aspects. Hybridisation of forest trees, a landscape-scale project adjacent to the front of the property and covers 75% of the surface of the green roof.
