If your kids are asking you this kind of question or if you harbour a heartfelt interest in nature... ... why not treat the whole family to a visit to the Arboretum at the Ecole du Breuil in the Bois de Vincennes? A collection of 2,000 carefully-labelled trees awaits you in this living tree museum. Among the 800 species on display, some highlights are the caramel tree, the cunninghamia and a wide range of coniferous trees including the blue fir. If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the rabbits, squirrels and hedgehogs that happily wander in the park. And if you’re a gardening enthusiast, you can even take horticultural classes there.
